Precious British Purrs Cattery

We are Christos and Hannah, a husband-and-wife team who are dual members of ANCATS, residing in the beautiful eastern suburbs of Sydney. Our love for the British Shorthair breed was ignited by our first beautiful blue girl, Mimi. Her teddy bear-like looks and personality inspired us to start breeding beautiful, true-to-type British Shorthairs that adhere to the breed standard. While blue remains a popular colour among our lines, we also breed a stunning array of other colours.

At Precious British Purrs, we are proud to be a boutique cattery, where quality, care and a more personalised approach are at the heart of everything we do. We offer fewer litters to ensure each kitten receives the utmost love, attention, and socialisation in a cosy, family home environment.  

 

Our top priorities are the health, well-being and temperament of our kittens. All of our cats are raised as beloved members of our family in a busy household, where they are well socialised and grow up with strong and robust personalities. We are committed to helping each kitten transition smoothly into their new homes, and we're here to support you throughout the entire process, from the moment your kitten is matched with you and beyond.    

 

For us, a cat is never just a pet. We breed our kittens to be companions, and most importantly, family members. Each one holds a special place in our hearts before they go to their loving new homes.

 

To protect the health and well-being of our cats and kittens, we do not allow home visits to view or choose kittens. Instead, we display them on our website and social media accounts, and we'll keep you updated with weekly photos and videos until your kitten is ready to join your family.

 

Owning a British Shorthair is a long-term commitment, with their care lasting up to 16 years or more. We encourage all potential owners to carefully consider this responsibility and ensure they are fully prepared for the journey before welcoming one of our precious cats into their home.
